how to help flood photos tabasco news wilma project
Tabasco, Mexico
welcome!....in November 2005 love2mexico.com was launched to raise awareness and
donations in an effort to help the victims of a very destructive Hurricane "Wilma" that struck the
Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico.  With the help of many kind people all over the world (like you), we
exceeded our wildest expectations by raising over $250,000. This money helped rebuild the
lives of many people in need.  If you had any part in that campaign, either through donation,
forwarding emails or raising awareness in some way ….THANK YOU!

Sadly enough, on the second-year anniversary of our site launch, news of another major disaster
in Mexico has hit the airwaves.  Devastating floods in the state of Tabasco have displaced over
1 million people. This is the worst flooding in over 50 years of Mexico's history.   If you have read
any of the news articles, displacement is only the beginning of this tragedy.

We are well aware that you may never meet any of the people of Tabasco personally, but you
must know them in your heart.  Each affected person is someone’s child, mother, father, sister,
brother, grandmother or grandfather who needs our help in any way that we can offer.  If by now
you have not clicked on the                            button, perhaps the following will convince you to
    make the move:
       1.  Because right now over 1 million people are without food, shelter, clothing, medicine and
vital necessities. This news is overwhelming, at best.
       2.  Because the cost of a “dinner for two” at your local restaurant can provide a week's worth
of supplies for an entire family in this time of need.
       3.  Because you believe in Karma and helping others brings heaps of the “good stuff”.
       4.  Because you can…..
Please take a look at the                              and see what you can do.  If you can’t help through a
donation, don't feel bad; just pass this on to someone who can. THANK YOU!
